Beauty: TOP 3 LFW BEAUTY LOOKS WE CAN’T WAIT TO TRY
Yes, we loved Lakmé Fashion Week for taking us through the latest trends. But being makeup hoarders, we couldn’t help but notice the beauty trends that created magic on the runway. From Cleopatra eyes to Marsala lips, the ramp had some stellar looks on display. Take a look as we tell you all about the beauty looks we can’t wait to experiment with.
Asmita Marwa’s pop art garments stood out on the runway. But how can we not mention the amazing beauty looks that models sported at the show? The Cleopatra eyes won us over while the lips were kept nude and faces, well-contoured.

How to get Asmita Marwa’s runway look:
Before you begin, remember that this look is all about the Egyptian eyes. Start by using generous amounts of the Lakmé Youth Infinity Skin Firming Serum for the much-needed glow. After having used your primer, foundation and compact, dramatise the eyes. Use the Lakmé Absolute Precision Liquid Liner for this as its pen-like tip will make it easy for you to do the Cleopatra eyes. Take the purple Lakmé Absolute Drama Stylist Shadow Crayon and add an outward stroke below the lower lid. Let the eyes do the talking and leave the lips subtle with the Lakmé Absolute Sculpt Studio Matte Lipstick in Peachy Pout.

Gaurang’s Indian ensembles made us swoon while the nose ring and the gold stick-on bindi on the models added that royal touch. However, it was the makeup that went so beautifully with the Indian vibe of the show. High cheek bones, Marsala lips and black lined eyes rounded up the beauty look.

How to get Gaurang’s runway look:
Want to try out this rich Indian look? Moisturize your skin and wear the primer and foundation. Go for the eyes next – get the smokey-eyed makeup on the upper lid and cover the eye socket entirely with it. But extend the liner from the lower lid giving it a retro cat-eye feel. Use the colour of the season, Marsala on the lips by way of the Lakmé Absolute Sculpt Studio Matte Lipstick in Maroon Magic and you’re all set to be a head-turner!

Gauri Khan’s printed saris and gowns had us raving about it while the beauty looks were hugely dramatic. Smokey lids, white liner, thick brows and pale coral lips took the show to a whole new level. Not to forget, models had sculpted faces with a fiercely chiseled jawline that won notice on the runway.

How to get Gauri Khan’s runway look:
It was all about the eyes in this one. Rely on the Lakmé Youth Infinity Night Cream to lend that bounce to your skin. For the eyes, use the Lakmé Absolute Precision Liquid Liner to line the eyes and then add shimmer by way of the Lakmé Absolute Colour Illusion Pearl Shadow in Grey. Line the inners and lower lid with the Lakmé Eyeconic White. For the lips, use the Coral Flare shade from the Lakmé Absolute Sculpt Studio Matte Lipstick and you’re all set for a night out!
