DIY#FASHION#NEW YORK FASHION WEEK#BEUTY LESSIONS FRON LAURE CONRAD'S NW FASHION WEEK SHOW

Beauty: BEAUTY LESSONS FROM LAUREN CONRAD’S NEW YORK FASHION WEEK SHOW

Fashionista and reality TV star, Lauren Conrad recently made her runway debut at New York Fashion Week for America’s favourite department store, Kohl for their Spring/Summer 2016 collection. The collection—very Jane Austen-ish had pretty pastels, florals, tulles, laces and uber girlie couture that completely won ours hearts. In sync with the feminine look was the hair and makeup. We saw crown braids, romantic hair, soft makeup, pale pink lips – it was all making us feel like we were watching princesses in a fairytales. Take a look at the hair and makeup lessons we learnt from LC’s spectacular debut at NYFW!
Crown braids look princessy
To take girlie couture to another level, the hairstyle that dominated the ramp was the crown braid. So romantic and pretty, these breads made the fashion show dreamy and vintage. Makes us want to try it out, stat!

Hairbands over messy hair make for a beauty craze
Just like flyaways are back in vogue, soft messy hair is the hairstyle making waves right now. Case in point—Conrad’s show had models sashaying down the ramp flaunting messy hairdos; the kind that were simple, pretty, and yet not overdone. The icing on the cake was the studded hairband that took the hair to a whole new level.

Pale pink lips are here to stay
What’s girlie without some pink on the lips? Models at the Lauren Conrad show were seen sporting hint of silvery shadow with pale pink lips. Very Keira Knightley-ish from Pride And Prejudice, don’t you think?

Low ponytails are here to rule
As much as we love top knots and buns, nothing comes close to feminine hairdos like low ponytails. Lauren Conrad’s show had plenty of models wearing their hair down in low messy ponytails as they modeled in their pretty lace and floral dresses. Such an unforgettable sight!
