TOP TRENDS FROM LONDON FASHION WEEK : SPRING 2016
The recently concluded London Fashion week had presentations from all the major global and British designers and we scoured through the collections to bring you the top trends straight from the runway.
The Spring collections were anything but somber with lots of prints and colour, especially yellow, on display. There was a retro feel to several collections, especially the 1990s (hello chokers!) and of course, the abundant use of flowers. It’s spring after all!
While Milan Fashion Week is currently underway, here we bring you the top trends from London Fashion Week.

Brights: Acid toned colours were seen at Christopher Kane while the Emilia Wickstead collection was a mixture of florals and brights (both big trends for spring 2016). Other designers that showed off brights were Jonathan Saunders, Issa, Burberry, Mary Katrantzou, Antonio Berardi and Templerley London.
Chokers: These made a comeback last year (mostly thanks to Rihanna & Ariana Grande popularizing all things 90s). For spring 2016, several designers including J.W. Anderson, Issa and Maison Margiela used chokers.
Retro 1970s and Graphic Prints: Both of these go hand in hand as the 70s were famous for the use of big, bold prints. For spring, both matching and clashing prints were seen on the runways at Peter Pilotto, Jonathan Saunders, Vivian Westwood, Anya Hindmarch and Temperly London.
Florals: Flowers are perfect for spring and were seen at Burberry, Markus Lupfer, Vivienne Westwood Red Label, Topshop Unique and Emilia Wickstead.
