Beauty: CANDY LIPS, CONTOURED VISAGES & SHIMMERY LIDS SPOTTED ON DAY 2 OF LFW
Day 2 of Lakmé
Fashion Week saw fabrics closer to home make an appearance on the ramp.
While we loved most of the collections, we were, of course, more
enamored by the makeup (can you really blame us?) The shows featured
some beauty looks that made us sit up and take notice. It was a day of
pink pouts, big eyes and chiseled ‘sculpt’ed faces. Oh, the joy of
seeing flawless makeup is unmatchable! Here’s presenting the gorgeous
looks that made our day.
Sure, Anavila’s ‘A Summer Stroll’ collection had our
attention. While her designs depicted her love for nature, the beauty
looks merged wonderfully with the theme of the show. Models were seen
wearing buns with black lined eyes and soft lips but their faces were
kept sharply contoured.
Here’s how to get Anavila Misra’s look:
If you’re in love with this look as much as we are, start with applying the Lakmé Youth Infinity Skin Firming Night Crème that’ll rejuvenate your dull skin overnight. Play up your eyes with the Lakmé Absolute Precision Liquid Liner. Given that the Sculpt look is currently having its moment, open up your eyes with the Lakmé Absolute Eye Chromatic Baked Eyeshadow in Night Flash. Keep the lips soft and apply just a hint of the Lakmé Absolute Sculpt Studio Matte Lipstick in Coral Flare.

The beauty looks seen at Masaba’s
‘Sugar Plum’ collection presented on Instagram, were in complete sync
with the theme – you had candy colours, big lips and all things cool.
While Nargis Fakhri’s playful bangs made for a fab change, it was the
pink pout and rosy cheeks that we fancied the most. Come to think of it,
it was a show of many firsts – the Instagram angle, the candy looks and
the fact that a showstopper was seen in a playful mood on the ramp,
doing complete justice to the feel of the show.
Here’s how to get Nargis' look:
Remember that a look like this deserves instant attention so begin with using generous amounts of Lakmé Youth Infinity Skin Firming Serum that’ll lend your skin a natural glow. After applying the primer and foundation, add colour to the cheeks by way of the Lakmé Absolute Cheek Chromatic Baked Blush in Pink. To get her big bright eyes, line your eyes with the Lakmé Absolute Precision Liquid Liner and finally, for that perfect pout use the Lakmé Absolute Sculpt Studio Matte Lipstick in Pink Me Up! Hello, candygirl!

Here’s how to get Anand Bhushan’s runway look:
After moisturizing your face, play up your eyes with the Lakmé Absolute Drama Stylist Eyeshadow Crayon in Turquoise. As the name suggests, this’ll give your eyes much-needed drama so use it like paint just below the brow bone. Add a hint of gold on the eyelids with the Lakmé Nine to Five Eye Quartet. Finish up the lips with the Lakmé Absolute Sculpt Studio Matte Lipstick in Peach Pout.
