FASHION: SHOE STALKING: FOOTWEAR THAT HAD US AT HELLO
One of the most critical parts about dressing up (or down, as you may have it) is choosing the right kind of footwear. We spotted a boatload of fantastic shoes at LFW that had us temped enough to make a shoe purchase. Heels, sneakers, oxfords – the fashion fraternity went the whole nine yards! Adidas Jeremy Scott Wings WedgeSeen on most models, the Adidas Jeremy Scott Wings Wedge enjoyed celebrity status making them one of the most Instagrammed shoes at LFW.
Dual-tone oxfordsComfortable and old-school classy, patent leather dual-tone oxford wedges lend an androgynous touch to kurtas, skirts and dresses.
Bold gladiatorsOTT alert! We spotted this pair of uber bold gladiators that seemed to have found their way straight out of Cleopatra’s wardrobe. Gotta hand it to this lady, there was no way anyone did not take notice of these!
Strappy floralsSophisticated and ladylike, single strap floral heels are perfect whether paired with muted outfits or print on print.
Platform heelsWith a high comfy quotient, platform heels became an obvious go-to at Fashion Week. We loved this pair in neon that stood out from the usual golds, blacks and nudes.
Buckle bootsSuper edgy, we spotted way too many fashionistas in buckle boots; best paired with hot shorts, skinny pants and miniskirts.
