DIY#HAIRSTYLING TIPS#4 BEST HAIRSTYLES WITHOUT HAIRFALL FOR FESTIVE SEASON

4 NO-FAIL FESTIVE HAIR IDEAS FOR LOCKS OF EVERY LENGTH

Bob length

How to style it: Embrace the length of your bob in full glory with waterfall braids in multiple variations—with a middle or side part, all around the crown or just to one side and so on. If you’ve got slightly longer hair, you can even tuck the side braids into a rounded ponytail to create a little bun for yourself.

Add ons: If you want to hide your bob into a tight ponytail or a small bun and then fix a readymade ethnic look onto it, try extensions, switches, readymade buns, joodas and rolls to add length.

Shoulder length

How to style it: Everyone’s favourite beach waves and loose curls look fab on shoulder length hair, although they do take away from the length a little. If you aren’t feeling too adventurous then simply gather up your hair at the crown and create a small braid or let your hair loose and make yourself a milkmaid braid.

Add ons: Since you are an in-between length you can use both hair extensions and hair accessories to your advantage depending on the occasion you’re dressing up for.

Mid length hair

How to style it: For mid length hair, Shailesh recommends a braided bun that stems out of a waterfall braid, a no-fuss top knot bun (a French girl favourite) or even a low, messy bun which is so popular on the red carpet and has quite a modern, organic touch to it.

Add ons: If you think you’ve under-dressed your locks, you can always invest in flowers, a gajra or even a dainty maangtika.

Full length

How to style it: For hair that’s longer than your waist, your choices are endless! Low involvement looks will always be en vogue so don’t be afraid to wear your hair messy. If you want something dressier, opt for tousled waves, a half up and half down hairdo to accompany the waves or braids like the side waterfall braid or fishtail braid which are fit for most occasions.

Add ons: Let the length and style of your hair be the centre of attention and keep it minimal when it comes to the accessories.
