DIY#FASHION#CHECK OUT THE BEST FASHION TRENDS THIS YEAR#

OUR ROUNDUP OF THE BEST FASHION TRENDS THIS YEAR

MIlitary

We’ve always adored the olive colour but this year, our love for military reached a whole new level. Every time we stepped into stores, military outfits called out to us. Our obsession reached a level where we bought dresses, shirts, pants, bags and blazers—all in military green. But we have no apologies; we’re just blaming this vice on the fashion Gods.

White kicks

One of the biggest fashion trends of 2015 were white kicks. They were at fashion weeks, they were at music fests and they were at film events. So to keep up with the trend, we bought white shoes and wore them for every cool occasion that came by ‘coz hey, there’s no fashion girl who doesn’t own white kicks alright.

Pinafores

We love it when fashion rewinds itself and revives old trends. The ‘school girl’ look made its way into the fashion scene when pinafore dresses went big this year. They were seen in gingham prints, in various fabrics but our personal favourite was the denim pinafore. We teamed ours with a white bell-sleeved shirt and went about town announcing that this was a trend here to stay.

Oversized jackets

Hey fashion girls, you’ve wronged yourselves if you didn’t fall for the oversized jackets obsession ‘coz trust us, if there was one thing that was everywhere this year, it was the long jacket craze. Girls wore them over jeans and crop tops, dresses, maxis and shorts—you name it and there was a boyfriend jacket as a cover up. And boy, did it look fantastic every single time we spotted it!

Mini bags

One of the latest fashion trends, mini bags were the accessory of every fashionista this year. Almost all the stylish women in the world traded their totes for mini bags. So what if you can’t fit the world in them? At least, your style game will be on point with this one.

Flared jeans

This year was a complete throwback to the ‘70s when flared jeans suddenly became omnipresent. It’s true that we’ve worshipped skinny jeans all along but flares broke the monotony and we have to say, we love every bit of this new change.
