DIY#Hair routine#5 EVERYDAY HABITS OF GIRLS WITH GORGEOUS HAIR

5 EVERYDAY HABITS OF GIRLS WITH GORGEOUS HAIR

She knows when to wash her hair

Any woman with great hair will never go overboard when it comes to washing her hair. She knows how often to wash it and will always use the right kind of products meant for her hair type. So, if you stay in a city where pollution is high and you are exposed to a lot of dirt and grime then make sure you wash it every alternate day and if you live in a city where pollution is not much and humidity is low you can wash it twice a week.

She eats all the right things

She understands the inside-out approach when it comes to hair.  Hence, she makes a point to eat for her hair; iron, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and herbs that help keep hair shiny, fuller, stronger and manageable. Want to score big? Add some walnuts, eggs, green leafy vegetables and salmon in your daily diet.

She offers it Sun protection

While most people slather on SPF to sun-proof their ski, girls with good hair know that the sun can spell trouble for their locks too, that’s why they limit their time in the sun as much as possible and always make a point to use a leave-in conditioner while stepping out during the day.

She trims her hair regularly

Even while growing their hair, girls who’ve aced their hair game make it a point to get a trim regularly. For a healthy length, a trim every 6-8 weeks is recommended as a precaution against split ends.
She never washes her hair with hot water

She knows that excess heat is harmful for her hair, can affect its volume and lead to dry and lifeless locks. In addition, a preferred favourite is a bath with lukewarm water instead of hot water and a wash with cold water post conditioning for that healthy lustre.

DIY#JUST LAUGH#GYM JOKES#FITNESS MEMES THAT’LL MAKE YOU LAUGH

FITNESS MEMES THAT’LL MAKE YOU LAUGH

Only a fitness junkie will know the results that come out of lifting weights. So when someone tells you they don’t lift, this is exactly the kind of sadness you’re faced with. Right, gym-goers?

Had a terrific gym session? You’ve surely found yourself behaving like the girl in this meme—‘fatigued but don’t want to be called lazy either’. So we inevitably find ourselves hanging in somewhere trying to stay from snoozing.

Hey, people who can’t stop uploading their workouts pictures on social media? Yeah, it’s time to stop that. The world could do without the deets of yourgymming sessions!

Remember how Mr. Chow says, “Oh, you are having a bad day. Did you die?” in Hangover 2? This quote just got funnier because the internet replaced it with a fitness meme. You could be severely sore after a workout but hey, you’re alive enough to get back to train the next day!

Are you that person who never skips a workout? We bet this is how you feel when you enter an empty gym ‘coz everybody else has already presented their list of excuses to not hit the gym.

Ask a fitness expert what proteins mean to them and they’d tell you it’s crucial to their life. If you’re someone like this, we’re sure you feel this way when someone ends up drinking your protein shake.

Girls, when Hollywood heartthrob Ryan Gosling tells you something, you’d do it, no questions asked. So when he says keep squatting, we’re never giving up.

You know how you come up with the most bizarre excuses when you want to skip the gym? This is exactly what this funny meme talks about. Are you guilty of doing this too?

DIY#TRADITIONAL AVATAR#DESI STYLE INSPIRATION FROM 5 B-TOWN CELEBS

DESI STYLE INSPIRATION FROM 5 B-TOWN CELEBS

Whether it’s a sari, anarakali or a pair of dhoti pants, our Bollywood beauties always give us some serious style goals when it comes to dressing desi. We decoded the looks of our favourite celebrities in traditional outfits for some festive wardrobe inspiration...

Shraddha Kapoor

The actor was recently spotted wearing a mint blue sari by designer Babita Malkani. Resembling a printed scarf that draped her dainty waist, she contrasted the colour with a zig zag print crop top that could even complement a pair of jeans and hot shorts perfectly. And we like that she’s kept accessories to a minimum for a look that is effortlessly traditional!

Dia Mirza

She’s skipped the dupatta but that’s totally doable when you have an outfit as pretty as this! The fishtail, floor-sweeping subtle gold Anarkali suit by Gaurav Gupta only highlighted her complexion and that gold clutch and earrings added to the typical Diya elegance.

Kareena Kapoor

If there’s anyone who knows how to do desi chic, it’s Bebo! She picked a bright yellow kurta from Payal Singhal and paired it with black patiala pants, a printed dupatta and mojaris completed her look (that we’re definitely borrowing this season!)

Priyanka Chopra

Her black and gold dhoti overalls by designer Tisha Saksena made the star looking oh-so-ravishing. We also love statement danglers that perfectly complement her Indo-western outfit and no frill hair that clearly puts the spotlight on her garments.

Kajol

In a black lace embroidery Sabyasachi sari, the dusky beauty chose to go vintage bold with her traditional avatar. Hints of red on her lips and a rose in her hair are adding just the right amount of glamour to her otherwise understated look. Lovely!

DIY#BRAND NEW SUPERHEROINE#MEET MAPUI, TINKLE'S NEWEST, 13-YEAR-OLD SUPERHEROINE

MEET MAPUI, TINKLE'S NEWEST, 13-YEAR-OLD SUPERHEROINE

Today as comics make a raving comeback, our favourite Tinkle has taken a socially responsible stand and introduced Mapui the Wingstar, its first female superhero or heroine rather to their repertoire. Here are six things we need to know about her…

She is all of thirteen

Mapui is Tinkle comic’s newest female superhero who is all of thirteen, is from Mizoram in Northeast India and her life is all about picking battles between Math homework, sleepovers and fighting crime! Isn’t that just too cool for a 13-year-old?

Her wonder kid name is Wingstar
She is simple kid named Mapui Kawlim who hails from a middle class household of Aizawl but Mapui doubles up to be the wonder kid aka Wingstar every time she needs to save her neighbourhood!

She isn’t Tinkle’s first female superhero but she is brand new

Tinkle has already had two female superheroes previously, Super Weirdos with Aisha in the lead and Maya headlining the futuristic PsyMage series. What makes Wingstar or Mapui different from the rest is that she’s a reluctant teenage superhero who is encouraged to take on the world by her father! Setting a standard there too, Tinkle!
Wingstar is powered by some super awesome gadgets

Mapui is powered by gadgets for super flight and super strength that are given to her by her dad Tashi Kawlim who is an inventor working for the Space Development Arm of the Government. Woah, dream toys for any kid her age!

Her father works for the Space Department
Her father has the coolest job for a superhero dad and Mapui totally takes after her father and inherits his genes when it comes to putting science to good use! She learns to use rocket thrusters, iron fists and reinforced robotic arms from him and uses them to fight crime.
Her life is all about difficult choices!

Mapui also leads the regular life of a teenager and has to make some difficult choices between saving her neighborhood, attending school, dealing with her detective instincts, dreading math homework and keeping up with her sleepover commitments.
