How to Wear the Jumpsuit: A Guide for beginniner

How to Wear the Jumpsuit: A Guide for beginniners

written by ROMA SINGH

You will never catch me in a jumpsuit. Never ever. Mostly because I like to know that I can get out of my clothes quickly if I really need to pee. But those are my priorities. Jumpsuits can be totally cute! We’ve got some handy rules for wearing a jumpsuit with aplomb.

The RULES: Jumpsuits

The Jumpsuit can be a daunting garment to pull into your wardrobe – and yet a surprisingly versatile one if your wanting a non-fussy, sophisticatedly flattering piece that can be just as appropriately worn for play as it is for work!

It all comes down to finding the right fit for you…
Secure a flattering jumpsuit and all there is left to be done is styling – which can be applied as minimally or as dramatically as the occasion requires.
You can choose an elegant and minimalistic approach, a extravagantly bombshell look or an inspiring and casually cool everyday approach – I have a few tips for all these options below…
HOW TO WEAR AND  STYLE IT IN WORK PLACE:
WORK:
  • When it comes to work, minimal fuss in the morning and a strong coffee is usually all we want.
And this is where the jumpsuit is an awesome choice for the office. With it’s slick silhouette and it’s clean lines, you’ll never have to worry again about an un-tucked shirt!
Duo-toned jumpsuits are a fantastic choice with (for example) white on top and black on the bottom, giving a shirt and trouser vibe.
  • Look for a jumpsuit that is going to either drape once on, or sit with tailored perfection. Anything that resembles a second-skin should be sharply avoided!
  • Style your work look with accessories that are going to feminize your look.
Go for strong statement pieces if your jumpsuit is plain, or tone down the accessorizing to simple metals if you opt for a patterned or highly printed jumpsuit.
  • Layering a blazer over top, either sitting it on your shoulders, or wearing it as it’s designed for, has always an effect that works wonderfully with a jumpsuit.
PLAY:
  • Bright is better when your off-work! During the day, wear a jumpsuit in a colour that gives you all the confidence you need not to feel like a toddler in this decidedly youthful garment!
  • Finish your look by accessorizing with items that portray a fun and vibrant feel – go for woven raffia wedges or a bright statement clutch.
Look for easy items that carry no fuss and are as casually cool as your onezie!
EVENING:
  • Evening jumpsuits demand more sophistication that those worn during the day or to work.
  • Black is always a good choice – and slimming!
  • Get as much height as you can during the night with statement heels.
  • Don’t cover your sleek, slim-lined look with a clutch that is too big – think smaller in terms of add-on proportions.
  • Add that touch of well needed pizazz via embellished shoes, clutch or wonderfully elegant jeweled accessories.

I usaually writes for girls fashion but this time its our boys turn to become cool stylish n trendy.here are some easy smart tips hoe to make a basic T -shirt interesting n cool
A t-shirt is a man’s second best friend after jeans, of course! But a pair of jeans is still an incomplete piece of clothing without a t-shirt. It’s like they go hand in hand for most men. Some guys tend to be in jeans and t-shirt day in and out. It would not be wrong to say that a t-shirt is the most basic piece of clothing in every man’s wardrobe and making a basic t-shirt look stylish should be on every man’s mind because they buy t-shirts more often than anything else.

Things You Need To Keep In Mind While Shopping For A Basic T-Shirt.

a. Fit – The fit of a basic t-shirt is like the most important factor while shopping. There is no point wearing a basic t-shirt if it doesn’t fit you well and by well we mean according to your body type.
The only thing in a basic t-shirt that attracts attention is perfect fitting.
b. Fabric – Once you have a good fit, you turn to the fabric of the t-shirt. Good fit but poor quality doesn’t look stylish at all. You should feel good about the quality the moment you wear it.
c. Colour – You can make a basic t-shirt look very interesting by the colour you choose. While white, black and grey are the most wearable options available, you can experiment by adding many other colours as well.

Ways To Make A Basic T-Shirt Look Stylish

1. The best way to wear a basic t-shirt is of course with a pair of classic denims. This combination never disappoints you

4. Bow Ties

Ask a woman how she likes her man and she will mention a bow tie at least once. There is an unparalleled charm to the quirkiness of the bow tie and it doesn't necessarily have to be black. Try the checkered, the red, the plaid or the green for a fun look.

It may seem a bit feminine to side up with these but trust us, it looks great on the guys. A current trend where your trousers taper down just above your ankles and can be suited up with a plaid shirt or a jacket or blazer along with those Oxfords.

PINK MY OBESSION...PINK WORLD DO,S AND DONT WITH PINK

PINK MY OBSESSION SPEAKS OUT YOUR PERSONALITY

written by ROMA SINGH

My obsession with pink goes a long way back. It started with pink roller blade sneakers somewhere around being 10 (we all remember that fad) to babydoll dresses in college, a pink and black bedroom, ofcourse the 'rose' representation in my swanky phone and now this set of  gorgeous lipsticks from faces.being highly sensitive oily skin,I personally trust and recommend this brand and using its products since 6 months.

Let me dwell on 'unified' because there literally is a pink color for everyone in this collection. My favorite colors from this range are baby pink, rosy pink  . I think it just helps when lipsticks are gorgeous to look at even before you apply them. Kind of like a treat to the eyes. Oh, and lips.

In the fashion world, wearing pink can be a bit of a challenge. While the color often crops up in designer collections and in the wardrobes of savvy celebrities and street style stars, it can so easily veer into Barbie territory if worn the wrong way

There are soe Do's and Dont's to wear pink without looking baby doll

1. MIX PINK WITH MENSWEAR

2. CHOOSE YOUR SHADE WISELY

3. ADD A LEATHER ACCENT

4. THROW IN A BOLD PATTERN

                     5. COMBINE PINK AND BLACK, NAVY, OR BEIGE

  6.TRY A PINK COAT

STYLING TIPS TO WEAR BLACK ON BLACK

STYLING TIPS TO WEAR BLACK ON BLACK
written by Roma Singh, 8 march
Black is my favourite color. It enhances your looks your body curves and also you look slimmer in black trust me..
It can be distinguished, classy, mysterious, and even rebellious — it all depends on how you wear it. Black is semi-unique among colors in that it goes well with almost everything, so you have tons of options when you're putting together an outfit that uses black. While there's no "right" way to wear black, there are many, many ways to make a great black outfit, so start experimenting with these style tips today!
Here I wore:
Wardrobe- Black top from Zara
                     Black fitted jeans from Mango
Golden belt with studded stones from style fiesta

1. Wear black casual clothes for a cool, understated look. Affordable, everyday black clothing can make a striking impression. Black somehow makes casual outfits look "put together." Best of all, since most people wear these sorts of clothes often in their day-to-day lives, you'll be getting a good value out any clothes you end up using.

    • Examples: Black t-shirts, jeans, shorts, socks, skirts, belts, baseball caps, tennis shoes, etc.
    • Notes: Try to avoid a 100%-black outfit when you're wearing casual clothing. One-color outfits can make your features blend together, giving you a "formless" look. For instance, a black t-shirt looks great with blue or grey jeans, but if you're wearing it with black jeans, you might use a different-colored belt to break up the monotony.
    • As I wore a golden belt to break the monotony of too much black

    • Wear black semi-formal clothes for an intellectual look. Black is perfect if you're trying to make a "bookish" or "artistic" impression. Use a single eye-catching black accessory to lend a little artsy flair to outfit or wear a black academic-inspired outfit to show that you're busy pondering life's deeper questions as i here wore a black earcuff to add statement to my outfit.

      • Examples: Black turtlenecks, flannel shirts, older blazers, scarves, boots, glasses, jewelry, berets, accessories, makeup, etc. Here I wore a black earcuff which I bought from lokhandwala market and it goes very well with my black attire..
      • Notes: Quirky and antique-style accessories go great with these types of outfits. For example, an out-of-fashion scarf from the 1970s suddenly looks deliberate and fashionable on an intellectual with a black beret at the coffee shop.
    • 3
Wear black formal wear for any serious occasion. When it comes to formal occasions, always bet on black. "Nice" black clothes are a great investment because they're appropriate for almost any formal get-together, from weddings to funerals. Black formal wear is stately, elegant, attractive, and respectful all at once — you'll never be sorry to wear it when you're enjoying the finer things in life.
      • Examples: Black suits, dresses, tuxedos, veils, earrings, ties, scarves, cufflinks, dress shirts, dress pants, leather shoes, high heels, etc.
    • 4
Wear form-fitting black clothes for a sleek look. Believe it or not, there's some scientific truth to the old saying "black is slimming." Black outfits absorb light, rather than reflect it, so they tend to make it hard to see the wrinkles, lines, and shadows that ordinarily form on a person's clothes.[1] This can give black outfits a slimmer, sleeker look than similar colored outfits, making them perfect for when you want to play up your lean, athletic features.
      • Examples: Yoga pants, athletic shorts, ballet tights, workout clothes, "under armor," skinny jeans, tight leather jackets, etc.
      • Notes: The fit of these clothes plays a big role in how they make you look — a big, baggy black workout shirt won't have a slimming effect, for instance.
      • Hope u all like my personal post.
      • Please share how you all style your black dresses waiting for ur comments.. Lots of love...

MY SECRET TO GET LUSTROUS AND FLAWLESS SKIN

HOW  TO GET  LUSTROUS LOCKS AND FLAWLESS SKIN

When people mention any health problem or come to me for advice, I naturally dole out remedies that originate in the kitchen! A friend going for a trek to Ladakh was sharing his fears of facing the biting cold of -30ยบ C recently and instead of mentioning the obvious solution such as buying insulated thermal wear, I advised him to carry a bottle of rum and dried fruits! Well, that’s me—I might sound like a grandma but sometimes, going back to the basics just seems like the best idea. Curious to know what other kitchen products I swear by for my skin and hair? Read on…

Bye, bye blackheads

Mix a small amount of a very mild toothpaste and sea salt and apply on the affected areas. Leave the paste on for exactly five minutes and then wash it off. Be prepared to be stunned with the smoothest, glowing skin you’ve ever had. Trust me on this one!

Why it’s good for you: Toothpaste works wonders on acne and blemished skin since it contains baking soda, menthol as well as hydrogen peroxide. Moreover, toothpaste is also an anti-bacterial agent—a blessing for acne prone skin. Sea salt contains magnesium, which has the power to prevent fluid retention from your skin and helps in keeping it soft and supple. Together these two make for the perfect recipe for beautiful skin!

Goddess Glow

Olive oil, sugar and lemons may soon shift residence from your pantry to the bathroom cabinet once you try this. All you have to do is mix the oil, sugar and lemon juice together. After soaping, I rub in this concoction on my skin, head to toe and then rinse off. Sounds too simple to be extraordinary, but it works and how! Girls, be ready to embrace soft, gorgeous, glowing skin with this route!

Why it’s good for you: When olive oil, sugar and lemon juice are mixed, it becomes a powerful exfoliant for the skin. This means your skin will get rid of all the dead cells and bacteria. Moreover, sugar and olive oil both have hydrating properties while lemon has bleaching properties that will help you regain your natural complexion.

Lustrous locks

Blitz together a ripe banana, some yogurt and honey in a blender. Here’s the twist—don’t drink it; instead just apply to your hair from the roots to tips, section by section. I usually leave this on for at least 15 minutes, and then pop in for a shower and rinse it off. Follow it up with your general shampoo and conditioner routine. Tames even the roughest of hair!

Why it’s good for you: Bananas contain vitamins and minerals that are known to moisturise the scalp. It also contains iron, which has the power to strengthen the roots of your hair. Moreover, both yoghurt and honey are natural conditioners that will leave your hair shiny and soft. Happy hair, here we come!

THE 7 MISTAKES OF STYLE WE SHOULD ALWAYS AVOID

THE 7 MISTAKES OF STYLE

Being the fashion addicts that we are, we’ve got it all pat down. From avoiding the horizontal stripes when we feel bloated to the back-up flats that are always in our bags when we’re strutting in stilettos; we think we know it all, but do we really? There is faux pas or two which manages to slyly slide into our personal everyday style so keep your eyes open to make sure you don’t commit any of these style sins and end up a fashion disaster.

Sin #1 - Dressing inappropriately for the occasion
There’s a place for everything and everything has its place. And by everything, we mean clothes. You wouldn’t wear a pair of distressed jeans to a wedding, now would you? Dressing inappropriately is a fashion crime that you just don’t want to be caught committing so save your t-shirts for your coffee runs and bring out your lehenga when it’s wedding season.

Sin #2 - Choosing quantity over quality
It is a great feeling walking out of a store with your arms full of items you bought at a steal but is it greater than a designer bag? Quantity versus quality is one of the most important shopping debates and when the former wins over the latter, a sinful one as well. While buying large amounts of lesser quality items seems satisfying, it doesn’t last very long and gets dated quickly, rendering it useless. On the other hand, a high quality pair of shoes or luxury bags are often handcrafted with the best materials and have the tendency to last for years, even to be passed through generations. So when it’s battle-time of the former versus the latter, make sure to always be on team quality.

Sins #3 - Being uncomfortable in what you are wearing
If we really had to introspect, we could pick out a few times when we’ve hard a difficult time balancing in a pair of heels or breathing in skinny jeans. A good sense of style emerges when you embrace being comfortable in the fashion choices you make. If it doesn’t fit, you can’t walk with it or it’s causing you discomfort, don’t wear it. Instead, opt for a comfortable fashion, which will  show confidence in your choices and behaviour.

Sins #4 - Blindly following trends
When the latest fashion trend arrives on the block, the rush of excitement and anticipation to take it for a spin is our natural reaction which has, sometimes, resulted in disastrous circumstances and  fashion mistakes. Very little good can come out of blindly following a trend and it’s in your best interest to know more about it. Do your research and see if it flatters your body type, your skin tone and your hair texture and once you are sure it does, then proceed.

Sin #5 - Wearing the wrong size
Ah, the things we do for the love of fashion! Sometimes, out of sheer laziness or a good price, we’ve bought clothing that is size too big or small and ended up with ill-fitted, unflattering item that has no use and takes up space. Therefore, before you even get into buying something, refer to the size chart of the brand and using a measure tape, find your size. Wearing the right fit of clothes can take your outfit up a notch and work it in ways you cannot even imagine!

Sin #6 - Dressing without balance
Dressing up is a great part of the day but when it’s without a balanced look, you’ll end up in a distasteful silhouette that you would rather not be seen in. Even the most glamourous of celebrity stylists will let you in on one of the secrets of well dressed women which is, pairing pieces together that balance with other. Pair contrasting fits like a narrow fit with a flowing one or you can even go for all overall flowing look with the addition of heels. Whatever choice you take, know that a streamlined, pulled-together look is birthed from clothing that fits together like pieces of a puzzle.

Sin #7 - Showing up ungroomed
Whether you are heading to a business meeting, a sangeet or a movie date, having an ungroomed appearance is one of the greatest faux pas. The way you carry yourself speaks volumes about you without saying a word and turning up without grooming conveys the message of being untidy, disrespectful and careless. Don’t be fooled into thinking that wearing a fancy dress and bright lipstick is synonymous with being groomed. Just paying careful attention to your personal care and hygiene with something as simple as neat eyebrows, a spritz of perfume and a hair trim constitutes grooming; which is essential whether you are in a skater dress or a trackpants.

LEARN TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT BELT ACCORDING TO YOUR BODY TYPE

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT BELT ACCORDING TO YOUR BODY SHAPE

One of the most underrated accessories, belts can actually create a helluva difference to your appearance. But before you go all out belt shopping, it’s imperative to understand that not all belts suit every body type. Wondering what would work for your frame? Take a look.

If you’re pear shaped…

You’ve always faced the dilemma of trying to make your waist look slimmer, haven’t you? The good news is that you can totally do so by wearing the right belt. Remember that broader the waist, the slimmer the belt needs to be. A slinky belt will be one of the best belts for you because it will give your waist an illusion of looking slimmer. Such a savior, isn’t it?

If you’re petite…
Try wearing skinny belts of the same colour as your dress. These will cinch your waist and accentuate your curves in such a way that you look taller and get noticed!

You can buy a slinky belt from Koovs for 895

If you’re short…

If you struggle with a short torso, go for medium-sized belt in the same colour as your top but don’t match it with your lowers. Wearing a belt that matches your shirt will help elongate your upper body.

You can buy a medium-sized belt from Jabong for 600
If you’re apple-shaped…
If you happen to be apple-shaped, you need broad belts but wear them under your bust to create an illusion of a slender waist; skip belts around the hips. Look for drape-like silhouettes and cinch the top with a belt around the bust. So simple!

If you have an hourglass body…

You have the perfect body to pull off just about any belt but our advice would be that you wear a high-waisted metallic one so it accentuates your slim waist and makes you look confident.

You can buy a high-waisted metallic belt from Koovs for 270
